1000MMI gave birth to GateMMI, which is Gate Music Ministry India—the first official singing band of 1000MMI. Formed in 2021, the band consists of six missionaries from the 23rd batch, hailing from three different states of India. The Gate Band was established to support the missionary movement, touring across the country and singing songs of praise in various Indian languages. Their mission is to revive the church, campaign for the Gospel, and recruit young people to participate in the missionary movement.

The response to this ministry has been overwhelming, as God is using the singing band to accomplish His mission in India.

Like other missionaries of 1000MMI, the singing missionaries undergo the same rigorous training. After two months of preparation, they remain on campus, dedicating 7 to 8 hours each day to vocal exercises, music practice, recording, and learning songs in different languages.

Their spiritual discipline is maintained through morning meditation, Bible study, and prayer meetings held in the morning, noon, and evening. The Word of God and prayer are the foundation of the quality and power of their praise.

As the singing missionaries of God in the Southern Asia Division, the Gate Band is based on campus but frequently travels to various states, churches, schools, colleges, and universities. They share their testimonies through music, revive the church, and encourage young people to engage in the Gospel commission.

The Gate Band will continue its mission until Jesus returns, so we ask you to keep this music ministry in your prayers.
